Backyard Inflatable Water Slides
As soon as the weather turns warm, children start to get restless. With school out in many parts of the county, children find themselves with a lot of time on their hands, which leads to boredom. Bored kids tend to badger their parents, tease their siblings, and get into a lot of trouble.
That is why smart parents throughout the country are turning to backyard inflatable water slides to keep their children busy during the hot months of summer. During the very hot hours of the afternoon, many children find the heat too oppressive to allow them to play outdoors. Unless you are fortunate enough to have a swimming pool, you know the feeling of having a house filled with bored and restless kids throughout the summer afternoons.
Inflatable water slides keep children busy for hours upon hours, day after hot day. Kids can play on these blow up slides for three to six hours straight, taking short breaks to come into the house to grab some food. The children get good exercise with these slides, as they have to keep climbing back up to the top once they have slid down the slide, and that allows them to release endorphins and feel good about their summer vacation.
Inflatable water slides are also an ideal venue for carnivals and birthday parties for children aged two to twenty. Having one of these inflatable slides in your yard will also serve to make your child one of the most popular kids in the neighborhood! Kids enjoy hanging out in the pools at the bottom of the slide and spraying each other with the water cannons attached to to the edge of the water slide.
At a recent birthday party for over twenty girls, one of the guests’ parents pulled out his phone in the middle of the party and then ordered the exact same slide for his daughter, when he saw how much fun this water slide can bring a group of children! Parents have calculated that the cost of an inflatable water slide is similar to the cost of visiting a water park two or three times, and the slide should last you for multiple seasons! And of course you have the benefit of having all of the fun taking place right in your backyard, so there is no need to travel far to get to the fun activity!
Most inflatable water slides come with an air pump which will pump air into the contraption for hours on end. The pump does make a little noise, however it is necessary for the stability of the water slide. Once the slide has deflated, the water will automatically drain out and give the grass on your lawn a good watering.
It is essential that you be sure to thoroughly dry off your inflatable water slide before you store it away. Otherwise, if some of the slide is damp, mold will begin to grow on it, which will ultimately destroy it. The best way to be sure that the slide is completely dry is to leave it blown up after the water has drained in the sun for several days. During this process your kids can even jump on the slide while it is dry and continue to have a good time!
